This bill was introduced in the House of Representatives on April 23, 2024. This bill should amend title XIX of the Social Security Act to add a Medicaid State plan requirement with respect to the determination of residency of certain individuals serving in the Armed Forces. This bill requires a state Medicaid program to retain coverage for active-duty members of the Armed Forces and their dependents who are receiving home- and community-based services or their placement on a waitlist for such services even if they are temporarily relocated to another state.
