This bill was introduced in the House of Representatives on November 15, 2023. This bill would help individuals receiving disability insurance benefits under title II of the Social Security Act obtain rehabilitative services and return to the workforce, and for other purposes. The Commissioner of Social Security would disseminate information relating to participation in the Program to each disabled beneficiary at the time of such beneficiary’s entitlement to benefits and every 6 months thereafter. The Commissioner of Social Security shall promulgate or revise, as appropriate, regulations relating to the determination, classification, and review of the disability status of individuals who apply for or receive disability insurance benefits under title II of the Social Security Act.
