UCEDD Research Operation Manager

Kinnari Jhaveri, MBA is a Research Operation Manager at the USC University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) and in the Division of General Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). She has a Master of Commerce from H. A. College of Commerce, which is equivalent to a Master of Business Administration, and a Certificate in Computer Information Systems, and Programing in Visual Basic from Riverside Community College. She completed a fellowship in the California Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (CA-LEND) Program in Health Administration. Ms. Jhaveri has worked at CHLA since 2005. She started as Financial Analyst and after 5 years, she worked as Program Administrator and Clinical Research Operation Manager and worked for the Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute. She is integral to the success of many research grants/contracts as, she has helped to expand the number of funded projects to over 70 in the Division of General Pediatrics. Ms. Jhaveri has guided many junior faculty, fellows, and residents on small grants and pilot projects to generate larger grant-funded projects. Some of her accomplishments include poster presentations at national meetings. She was also the Co-Director of a grant from ACEs Aware from CA Office of Surgeon General and the Department of Health Care Services to hold two conferences and additional trainings on Childhood Adversity Resilience & Mindfulness (CHARM) total of $200K for the period of July 2020-June 2021.
