This bill was introduced in the Senate on September 5, 2023. This bill will amend title 38, United States Code in order to improve matters relating to medical examinations for veterans’ disability compensation and for other purposes. The Secretary of Veterans Affairs should complete a study on access by rural veterans to covered medical disability examinations. The Secretary should also review a statistically significant sample of all covered medical disability examinations completed during the previous calendar month.
