This bill was introduced in the Senate on July 25, 2023. This bill modifies the definition of competitive integrated employment for individuals with disabilities under the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 with respect to types of workplace interactions and payment for employment under certain contracts. Current law provides for certain resources to assist individuals with disabilities in securing or maintaining competitive integrated employment.
