H.R.5096 - The Disability and Age in Jury Service Nondiscrimination Act (Introduced in the House of Representatives on September 2 , 2025)

This bill was introduced by Representative Lateefah Simon (D-CA) on September 2, 2025. The bill would amend title 28 of the United States Code to prohibit excluding a person from federal jury service based on disability or age. The bill would make sure that people with disabilities and older adults can serve on a jury which is a group of people who help decide if someone is innocent or guilty of a crime.
