Book: Bounded sheets of paper consisting of scholarly content that is often offered for sale. This may include; university textbooks, research monographs, published and professional books.
Book Chapter: A significant entity containing scholarly content in a book that is often offered for sale. Book chapters may be included in books such as; university textbooks, research monographs, published and professional books.
Non-Refereed Publication: An internally reviewed print or electronic publication that presents a report(s), a reference to a particular topic, a view on analytical information. Technical reports, guides, handbooks, monographs comprise a non-refereed publication.
Peer Review: A scholarly publication, most commonly, a documentation of research to be reviewed by experts in the field of study to advise and ensure credible information.
Periodicals: A prepared publication for print or by electronic means that is published for fixed intervals or an indefinite period of time. Newsletters, journals, newspapers, magazines are all examples of periodicals.
Public Awareness Material: Descriptive materials in print or electronic form to increase public awareness or community outreach on a certain topic(s) toward a specific audience. This may include; brochures, pamphlets, press releases, campaigns, and broadcasted appearances.
Education Modules: Instructional written strategies to set a standard of skills and concepts to be taught in an educational method to measure one’s achievement. Examples of educational modules are training programs, educational courses, student evaluations and syllabus.
Audio/Visual Materials, Software, Web Portals/Sites: Educational material presented in an audible/pictorial form, computer data, and website or service that offers multiple resources. CDs, DVDs, and online videos are forms of multimedia in this category.
