The purpose of the Nutrition Strategies for Children with Special Needs Manual (2nd Edition) is to provide community health programs with a resource to address the nutrition issues facing children with special needs. It can serve as a resource for dietitians and other healthcare professionals. The manual contains 100 pages and includes client handouts in English and Spanish. Tools for nutrition screening, growth assessment and general dietary assessment are included, as are guidelines for their use.
